From an empty corner lot on a steeply sloping hill, this home emerged as a response to place, aspiration, and the particular demands of its site. Commissioned by owners drawn to the convivial spirit and outdoor living of Italian country homes, the project is built for gathering, sharing, and moving through the day with ease.

The site's prominence and the clients' desire for privacy presented compelling challenges that shaped every decision. The solution reveals the studio's characteristic playfulness: four connected pavilions arranged around a central courtyard, transforming constraint into opportunity with an unusual composition that feels both open and purposeful. Unseen from the exterior, the private central garden becomes the home's unifying heart — a sheltered realm where family life unfolds in intimate dialogue with nature across all seasons.

Using carefully considered design in a typically holistic approach And And And Studio transformed both the structure and final stylistic detail to elevate the home in a true Italian spirit.
